The walks are a way of bringing people together to take a short walk for their mental wellbeing. It’s not particularly fast paced and there are various parts of the walk where people can join in. They usually end with a cuppa in the Flood Tavern.
They’re great because walking costs NOTHING! We don’t rely on a large number of people; sometimes it’s just a couple of us; other times a group of nearly twenty.
It gives you a chance to get fresh air, meet people, chat or just feel part of a group. Most importantly children, families and dogs are all welcome! Watch out on our social media to see when our next CALMwalk is. A meeting place, basic route and a finish will be published.
